Embarking on a non-traditional career path—from waitress and church wear photographer to sales manager and tattooist—one consistent driving force has fuelled my journey: an unyielding passion for creative work and a deep-seated desire to craft compelling narratives. When my first opportunity arose to work within the art department, it felt like a light bulb bursting above my head. It was the moment I had been tirelessly working towards.

Since working as an Art Department assistant in both HETV and commercials, I've mastered skills in graphics, standby, set dressing, prop hire, and archiving. My time in HETV has also provided me with a deeper understanding of period genre dressing and the intricate demands of lengthy drama productions.

As an Assistant, I’m never one to shy away from getting my hands dirty. Whether I'm set dressing a caravan in the middle of a storm or whipping up a mean brew to make the team happy, I’m always fuelled with an innate sense of humour and ready to tackle any challenge with a smile.
